FIFA WORLD CUP, RUSSIA 2018
KAZAN ARENA
Built in 2013 with reasons for the University Games that year, where it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies, with its first match in August of that year in a tie to one between the Rubin Kazan and the Lokomotiv Moscow, in the summer of 2015 It hosted the World Swimming Championship with two 50-meter pools. The Kazan Arena, with capacity for 45 thousand spectators and which also hosted the Confederations Cup 2017, was designed to integrate "perfectly" into the urban landscape of its city, in the shape of a water lily and is located on the banks of the Kazanka River.
